From Backyard Beginnings to Year-Round Craftsmanship
Our journey has been shaped by steady growth, hard work, and a passion for building quality structures. Here’s how it all began.
2017
Burkholder Buildings began on the ground, literally, in the little town of Montney, British Columbia. The first shed was built in March.
Summer of 2017
We moved to another rental property in Montney. This location had a shop, but it was too low to accommodate sheds so the building still took place outside.
Spring 2018
The first display lot in Montney.
Summer of 2018
We opened a display lot in Fort St. John.
October 2018
Burkholder Buildings moved to Hines Creek, Alberta. For the first few years, we built sheds in a 30 x 60 hoop building. It was uninsulated, so the building season was limited to the warmer months of the year.
2022
We built a shop for year-round shed building.
