Preparing Your Property

A good foundation is what keeps a building level, dry, and solid for years. For smaller sheds, setting the building on blocks can work well. For anything larger, or if you want the longest possible life out of any size building, we recommend a compacted gravel pad. The pad gives your building a stable, well-drained base that prevents settling and protects the pressure-treated skids and floor from sitting in moisture.

If you’re considering a cabin or a larger structure, pilings or a concrete foundation may be the better option depending on the building’s size and intended use. We work with trusted partners who can prepare a gravel or concrete foundation for you, so you don’t have to coordinate that separately.

How Buying Works

When you’re ready, call us and we’ll go over your site, your options, and your delivery timing. Most buildings are completed in four to six weeks depending on size and design.

Delivery and Placement

Getting a building from our Hines Creek shop to your Peace River property is something we plan carefully. We deliver using custom hydraulic trailers that let us place buildings precisely where you want them. For properties with longer driveways or limited space around the building site, we have specialized equipment that can carry your building right to the spot. When access is especially tight or the terrain makes trailer delivery difficult, we can arrange crane placement or build on-site.

The main thing we need is an access path at least one foot wider than the building from the road to the placement site. Before scheduling delivery, we’ll go over your site access with you so there are no surprises on delivery day.
