What We Build

Every Burkholder building is constructed in our Hines Creek production facility by our own team. We use premium spruce, pine, and fir lumber, pressure-treated skids and flooring, and durable painted siding finished with premium Beautitone paint. Roofing is available in architectural shingles or painted metal roofing for long-term durability. Our sealed entry doors are made with fiberglass and composite materials to resist rot, and our windows use aluminum or vinyl frames.

These materials are chosen specifically because they hold up in northern conditions. When you’re investing in a building that has to handle extreme cold, heavy snow loads, and long winters, what it’s made of matters. Every structure goes through an internal quality check before it leaves our shop and comes backed by a five-year limited warranty on workmanship and materials.

We offer a range of styles depending on your needs. The A-Frame handles general storage well. The Gambrel Barn maximizes interior height and volume for larger items. The Garage comes with a heavy-duty floor and an overhead door for vehicles and equipment. Sizes go from 8×8 up to 16×48.

Delivery to Hay River

We won’t pretend that delivering 640 kilometres into the Northwest Territories is the same as a local drop-off. It takes more logistics planning, and the lead time will be longer than a typical Peace region delivery. We’re upfront about that. What doesn’t change is the care we put into getting the building to your property in perfect condition.
We deliver using custom hydraulic trailers designed for precise placement. For properties with limited access, we have specialized equipment and can arrange crane placement. If access makes a finished delivery impossible, on-site construction is also an option.
